Company Delays Planned Lewis County Wind Farm (KELA Radio, Centralia, WA)

(DOTY) – That $230 million wind farm planned near Doty is being put on hold.  The company says they don’t have customer demand for the electricity for the power.  EverPower calls the situation a temporary setback. They’re aiming for a new operational date of sometime in 2013. The company adds they remain committed to the project which would line a series of ridges with up to 47 wind turbines.
