Natural Gas Pipeline Meeting Announced for Chehalis (KELA Radio, Centralia, WA)

(CHEHALIS) –  There are big plans to expand an existing natural gas pipeline that runs through western Washington, including a portion of Lewis County.  The additional capacity would serve a liquefied natural gas terminal in Oregon.  Most of the work would be done within the existing pipeline right-of-way.  People can learn more about the project planned a week from today in Chehalis. People can also give input about potential issues. The meeting planned Wednesday October, 17 at 6 p.m. at the V.R. Lee Community Building.
