(CENTRALIA) – At least it’s not
happening during football season. Centralia City Light is talking about
a sweeping power outage that’s possible Sunday July 1. A big area of
the downtown core plus other areas around town could see a power outage
that runs from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Crews are doing work needed to
transfer over to a new substation. The City of Centralia has a map
giving specific locations on its website.
This outage is separate from the planned outage this weekend from the
Lewis County PUD. It effects 420 customers Saturday morning along the
Little Hanaford, Big Hanaford, Haliday, Pearl Street and Reynolds
Avenue.
