(SALKUM) – Interactive displays
showing the life cycle of salmon highlight the grand opening of the
visitor’s center at the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery in Salkum. The center is
seeing a ribbon cutting ceremony today. Tacoma Power – which operates
the hatchery – also has been busy renovating the hatchery itself. That
includes a more efficient means to sort fish.
