$500,000 announced for Mossyrock dam tourist improvements (KELA Radio, Centralia, WA)

(MOSSYROCK) – As we first reported weeks ago, Tacoma Power is getting a nearly a half-million dollar grant for improvements for the Mossyrock Dam.  More precisely, it’s for improvements for people who want to stop there and check it out. The funds will be used for a new Highway 12  deceleration lane. The monies also will fund an accessible overlook with interpretive signage at the dam.  Tacoma Power worked with the White Pass Scenic Byway for the effort.
