WINDY IN MUCH OF WESTERN WASHINGTON LATER TONIGHT AND
TUESDAY
ANOTHER STRONG PACIFIC FRONTAL SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO SWING
THROUGH WESTERN WASHINGTON TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE WINDY
CONDITIONS MAINLY ALONG THE COAST AND IN THE NORTH INTERIOR.
SOUTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO RISE TO 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS
UP TO 50 MPH LATER TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING ALONG THE COAST AND IN THE NORTH
INTERIOR FROM WHIDBEY ISLAND NORTHWARD.
AFTER THIS SYSTEM MOVES INLAND, WINDS ALONG THE COAST AND
NORTH INTERIOR WILL EASE TO 15 TO 30 MPH.
WINDS FOR MUCH OF THE REST OF THE WESTERN WASHINGTON
INTERIOR SHOULD PICK UP INTO THE 15 TO 25 MPH RANGE TUESDAY INCLUDING THE PUGET
SOUND REGION AND SOUTH INTO OLYMPIA AND CENTRALIA.
THE STRONG WINDS MAY PRODUCE A FEW DOWNED TREES AND LOCAL
POWER OUTAGES. PREPARE NOW FOR THESE STRONG WINDS LATER TONIGHT AND TUESDAY.
