(TOLEDO, WA) -- Toledo has been selected for the “Cool and
Connected” program which is an initiative of the Obama administration focused
on helping rural communities grow their economies by working hand in hand with
federal experts. According to the “Cool
and Connected” webpage, Toledo will use a new broadband network to support
business and tourism downtown that will build on Vision: Toledo, a grassroots
coalition of people committed to community revitalization.
