The Public Power Council, headquartered in Portland, Ore., and representing consumer-owned electric utilities in the Pacific Northwest, elected officers for its executive committee for 2013-14:
- John Gerstenberger, Hood River Electric Cooperative, Odell, Ore., chairman;
- Ed Brost, Franklin Public Utility District, Pasco, Wash., vice chair, administration and budget;
- Ted Coates, Tacoma Public Utilities, Wash., vice chair, long-range planning;
- Roger Gray, Eugene Water & Electric Board, Ore., vice chair, allocation/rates/contracts; and
- Ken Sugden, Flathead Electric Cooperative, Kalispell, Mont., vice chair, fish and wildlife.
